ArKIDtecture Club for kids hosted by St. Joseph Museums

The St. Joseph Museum is launching a new learning experience for kids in Kindergarten to 6th grade, the ArKIDtecture club, which will take kids to 3 different locations from September to November to learn about architecture and buildings.

Public Relations Officer at Saint Joseph Museums,Kathy Reno, says attendees will first learn about making buildings as well as tools and safety at PERKA buildings.

"They're going to have a lesson on how to take care of their tools and safety gear - very important.  That's going to be a fun one because they are going to be learning from pros who do this every day."

Reno says the second trip takes them to the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion to view gothic architecture on October 27th, and the third takes them to Tobiason's Stained Glass Studio to produce their own stained glass pieces to take home on November 24th.
